Overview:

At Vulncon, we prioritize creating a safe and inclusive environment for all participants. Our Code of Conduct sets clear guidelines for behaviour and outlines the consequences of unacceptable conduct. We encourage everyone, including sponsors, speakers, attendees, media, exhibitors, and volunteers, to contribute to a positive conference experience.

1. Acceptable Behaviour:

Respectful Conduct: Treat others with kindness, respect, and collaboration.
Inclusivity: Embrace diversity and ensure all participants feel valued and welcomed.
Safe Environment: Safe Environment: Maintain awareness of your surroundings and promptly report any concerns to conference organizers.
Compliance: Adhere to venue rules and regulations at all times.

2. Unacceptable Behaviour:

Harassment: Any form of intimidation, discrimination, or abusive behaviour is strictly prohibited.
Dangerous Items: Possession of potentially harmful items or open alcoholic beverages outside designated areas is not permitted.
Smoking: Smoking is only allowed in designated areas.
Disruption: Failure to comply with venue rules or disruptive behaviour during sessions is unacceptable.

3. Consequences:

Zero Tolerance: Vulncon maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards unacceptable behaviour whether by other attendees, speakers, volunteers, organizers, venue staff, sponsors, or exhibitors.
Immediate Action: Participants engaging in unacceptable conduct will be promptly addressed by conference organizers.
Appropriate Measures: Depending on the severity of the offense, consequences may include expulsion from the conference without warning or refund.

4. Reporting:

If you experience or witness any unacceptable behaviour, please notify a conference organizer immediately. All reports will be handled confidentially and with urgency. You can also contact us via email at [email protected]

5. Anti-Harassment Policy:

Harassment-Free Environment: Vulncon is committed to providing a harassment-free experience for all participants.
Definition: Harassment includes offensive comments or actions related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, race, religion, and more.
Consequences: Offenders may face sanctions or expulsion from the conference without refund.
Exhibitor Responsibility: Exhibitors must adhere to the anti-harassment policy, including refraining from using sexualized materials or creating a sexualized environment.

6. Photography & Videography:

Vulncon events are open to everyone, and we embrace the freedom for attendees, including Vulncon staff, volunteers, sponsors, and media, to capture photos or videos during our gatherings. By participating in our events, you acknowledge the public nature of the space and understand that fellow attendees (including Vulncon staff, volunteers, sponsors, and media) may photograph or record you.

While attendees are encouraged to exercise discretion and sensitivity, respecting the preferences of those who prefer not to be photographed,

Vulncon organizers retain the right to utilize images featuring your likeness for future marketing purposes.
